I tried your “Pilates Abs” workout routine on my cable box, and it was an exhausting challenge I’ve since tried to make into a habit. The hardest part of the routine for me was consistently the fully-reclined sit-up, lying flat on my back with my arms fully extended, trying to come all the way over to touch my toes. Even cheating my feet off the ground I could barely do it, and routinely felt overwhelmed and defeated by it.
Then I started to think that, even though I know there’s not much strength in my core yet, there might be another explanation. I injured my back last year, and I remember that for that first month, even just sitting straight up in bed was too painful to attempt. Knowing that these things can linger, I tried your two-minute back-strengthening routine, and it made an immediate difference in my flexibility and comfort level through long days. I’ve kept at it, and this morning, I gave another shot to that dreaded sit-up, and I shocked myself with how smoothly I was able to do it. What an energizing feeling, to be able to do what seemed impossible only a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for providing it.
