...Bio

Since I began teaching Pilates in September 2002, I’ve enjoyed working privately and semi-privately with men and women aged 16-75. My experience at traditional studios, luxury gyms, and at a physical rehabilitation center has afforded me the firsthand knowledge of how to tailor workouts to all ages, body types, and fitness levels.

I discovered Pilates in the dance department at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I immediately took a liking to the precise choreography of movement, finding serenity and focus during my workouts. More than anything, the physical sensation of strengthening my body from the inside out gave me a sense of empowerment that has transformed my confidence and self-esteem - I was a girl who had previously never enjoyed exercising now so madly in love with Pilates that I wanted to share this love with everyone in my path!.

I first became certified to teach Pilates Mat classes at the Kane School of Core Integration in New York City. I was hired by both Crunch Fitness, a fantastic gym known for its innovative classes and hip instructors, as well as New York Health and Racquet Club. I spent the next year teaching dozens of mat classes each week all over Manhattan. I was then selected to star in a segment for CNN called “The 1-Minute Workout.” Upon my move to Los Angeles, I put myself through the intensive PhysicalMind Institute’s National Apparatus Certification Program, broadening my expertise to include the array of Pilates machines. In LA, I created my first private practice as well as launched the Pilates studio inside of Crunch Gym in West Hollywood. There, I hired a team of instructors, created a class schedule, and served as the Pilates department head.
.
Now living in my hometown of Dallas, Texas, I enjoy bringing the power of Pilates to a frontier town that has a history of being excited by the cutting edge. I am blessed to be surrounded by a loving community of citizens who take their responsibility to their bodies seriously. If you haven’t tried Pilates yet, what are you waiting for? I believe in the power of Pilates to change a person’s life…It changed mine!
